Imagine!

     I see signs the rebel alliance may actually be organizing in their opposition to the Evil Emperor and Dark Lord, Darth Naifeh. I apologize for the levity. I am absolutely giddy that this despot may be dethroned in the future. Just the thought makes the sun seem a little brighter, makes the bird's song a little more beautiful. Imagine, if you will a legislative world where bills are voted on by the representatives selected by the people they are supposed to serve. Imagine, if you can, a wonderful world where state government works as designed and is not held captive by one man. Imagine, with me, a world in which the will of the majority wins over the interests of the the Emperor and his buddies (Restaurant lobby). Just Imagine if you can a world where the rights of the people are given priority over the will of the special interests. We can make it happen. Just vote no to Jimmy Naifeh. Vote no, and then just Imagine!!!

The Emperor Strikes Back

Well, as most freedom loving Tennesseans know by now, Emperor Jimmy Naifeh made an uncommon subcommittee meeting yesterday and his vote killed a couple of pro second amendment bills. This doesn't surprise me or most other freedom lovers in TN. There should be enough second amendment supporters in Tipton County to keep the Emperor home at election time. As long as we allow him to stay in office this is the way it will be. It is up to us to make a change. Vote! Make a difference.

The Second Amendment

      Tomorrow the Supreme Court of the United States hears oral arguments in the Heller vs DC case. This case when it all boils down is whether or not the second amendment protects individual rights to keep and bear arms. This is the most important gun rights case that has ever been before the court. We who believe the second is about individual rights need the court to rule that way. Some court watchers believe the court will rule in a way that will give no definitive answer. I believe if that were the case they would have left it in the lower court, which had ruled the second as individual rights. Of course it could be months before we get a ruling either way. In the meantime you may want to stock up.

Liberal hypocrites Kill Me

      The congregation of virulent racist Pastor Wright today attacked the media for focusing attention on Pastor Wright's blatant racism. They of course, automatically invoke the name of Martin Luther King. Now, from the sermons I have read and heard, Pastor Wright has more in common with David Duke than he does Dr. King. You have a congregation defending this racist pastor. To my way of thinking, if you have a racist pastor, defended by a congregation, then it stands to reason the congregation including presidential hopeful, Barack Obama is also racist. I wouldn't vote for a klan member for president, so I can't vote for Pastor Wright either. A racist is a racist. Isn't it? A racist in the Oval office may not be a new thing, but that doesn't make it the right thing. And people like to say conservatives are all about race. These liberal hypocrites kill me.

Terrible News

      Freedom lovers in Tennessee received bad news this week. Speaker of the House, Emperor Jimmy Naifeh has announced he would seek re-election. This is terrible news for those of us who are pro-life, pro second amendment, and generally pro freedom. The Emperor rules the House with an iron hand. If a bill comes up he doesn't like, chances are it dies in committee. It is time for change. Conservatives need to band together and depose the Emperor. People of Tipton county, vote for freedom, and maybe this terrible news can turn into something to celebrate.

Killer

      Laurence Lovette, only 17 years old has been arrested, not just for the recent killing of UNC student Eve Carson, but also the murder of Duke University graduate student Abhijit Mahato. Now, here is a 17 year old kid that has killed twice that we know of. He callously ended two promising lives for material gain, and not a lot of that. You can argue he is just a child, I say he is a cold blooded killer who deserves to die for his crimes. It is time for thugs like Lovette to pay for the crimes they commit. Killers love to hide behind their race, or religion, or environment and use these things as an excuse. That is a load of crap. I know many people that had nothing and not only didn't become killers, but through hard work made something of themselves. I was reading an article by Glenn Beck today, and he was talking about personal accountability. That is what's missing in America today. From politicians to lowlife thugs like Lovette there is no accountability. Personal accountability can't be forced or taught. But we, as a society can hold people responsible for their actions. Then and only then will people realize their actions can have dire consequences. We need to forget Mr. Lovette is seventeen and instead remember he is a killer.

The News As I see It

      The French foreign minister Bernard Kouchner, (from now on referred to as nutless) said America has lost it's magic, and will never be the country it was before George W. Bush became President. What nutless, and the rest of the world has never understood is this. It is not the government that defines the greatness of America. It is the God-fearing people of America that make America the nation it is. It is the people of America that make it a beacon. So nutless, remember as I have said before if it wasn't for America you and a big part of the world would be goosestepping and speaking German. 
 
      A little closer to home is Barack Obama's pastor. This guy has a serious hatred for white folks. I will post links at the end to his sermon on youtube, and also to another sermon from 2003. Granted, Obama is not responsible for what this moron says, but if you follow a pastor you must believe for the most part, his views. If you are going to sit under the spiritual leadership of someone, then you have to share his beliefs. If indeed Obama shares his beliefs, then how can he be President for all Americans, and not just the black community. Now many will read this and say I am a racist? I really don't care what anyone thinks. I am not the one preaching hatred. Pastor Wright is.

A Dangerous Place

     The world is such a dangerous place. As most people know, just down the road in Memphis over the weekend six people including two children were killed in their home. A week ago, also in Memphis a boy in an elementary school was sexually assaulted in a bathroom at school. Now he is afraid to go to school and won't eat. A woman in Bartlett, Tennessee was injured when she came in and surprised a burglar. Locally here in my small town a meth lab was busted, and in the same week, a man was arrested for repeatedly forcing two of his underage relatives to have sex with him. He is 39 years old. Here in Tipton county there are over 90 people on the sex offenders list. That of course is just the ones that have been caught and convicted. The world is indeed a dangerous place. Home invasions are on the rise. These generally result in injury and or death for the owners of the invaded homes. In Florida another wacko shot up a Wendys restaurant. In California gangmembers killed a local High School football star. The world is indeed a dangerous place. I would suggest to those who would take away my second amendment rights, they would be better served by signing up for handgun classes and learning how to protect themselves, their families, and their homes. The world is indeed a dangerous place.

You can't blame the Machine

      Well the gungrabbers are salivating. There was another nutcase today, killing people and then himself at a Wendy's in Florida. I am sure on the news right now the liberals are screaming "gun control, gun control, gun control". You can't blame the machine for some wackos senseless act. The fact is this. If I want a gun to kill with, I can get one illegally, easier and less expensively than I can legally. Of course, this will just encourage Ted Kennedy to start screaming about gun bans as he has been doing for decades. Ted, when you left that poor girl to drown all those years ago, you didn't see anyone trying to ban drunken liberals, cars or bridges did you? Of course not. You can't blame the machine. She didn't die because of the car, or the bridge. She died because old Ted out of cowardice or fear of scandal didn't have the gumption to help her. Maybe we should just ban drunken liberals. My point, of course, is you can't blame the machine. You must blame the individual. I will post a link everyone needs to watch. This is where gun control leads.

     If you watch or follow the Tennessee House you quickly see we do have a petty dictator running things in Nashville. None other than Jimmy Naifeh. Now here is a man who, if there is a bill he dislikes, instead of taking chances on it passing a vote on the floor, he cowardly has it killed in committee. Folks it is time for the people of Tennessee to send this tyrant home. the next time he is up for election it is time for the Good (sarcasm here) Speaker to be sent packing. Speaker Naifeh you should be ashamed of yourself. I know I am ashamed of you.

     Here locally,  David Fleming, a convicted sex offender picked the wrong women to rape. He broke into a house in Brighton to rape two young women, one escaped, told a cousin, and the cousin shot the sorry piece of crap dispatching him to hell where he belongs. When I find out the name of the hero I intend to buy him lunch. 
      Another dirt bag was arrested in Alabama. He is a 25 year old posing as a teen, escorting a 14 year old girl to a dance. A sharp eyed teacher stopped him, an off duty officer tracked him to a laundry mat and he was arrested. His previous offense was first degree sodomy of an eight year old. They need to put me in charge of these guys. I could save taxpayers a bundle. 
      Last item, a Walmart employee was disciplined for teasing a Muslim woman for her veil. All she said "was please don't stick me up". Walmart issued an apology to local Muslims and kissed their butts firmly and well. A view of things to come. Now don't get me wrong, I believe almost everyone is worthy of respect. I have been insulted at Walmart many times and never received a regional apology. Ooops I forgot I am a white middle class Christian. Have a blessed day, and hey watch the news, keep abreast of what is going on in the world. Be prepared

Minding Our Own Business

      I just read that Senators Biden, Hagel and John (I can't believe I'm losing to that idiot) Kerry are going to monitor the elections in Pakistan to ensure fairness. I realize as America we have responsibilities to the world. I have to tell you though, these senators need to be home trying to solve some of our own problems and leave the election monitoring to people with nothing better to do like say, ummm former President Carter. He is expendable. Heck he was expendable when he was in office. I remember when he almost got taken out by that rabbit. Do you think I'm kidding? Google it and see.  Anyway back to my reason for posting. The economy is lagging, crime is rampant, especially in gun free zones, and our legislature can't seem to get anything productive done. I think there are times when we need to mind our own business, especially those elected officials who are supposed to be governing this country, not monitoring another. Maybe since Biden and Kerry have been rejected by the American people they feel they need some high profile gig to regain some attention. And Hagel, well I have no idea why he would even want to be seen in public with the other two. I believe we the American people would be better served if these three, along with their fellow legislators would mind our own business.

I saw some quotes from leaders of the American Revolution on one of the forums I belong to, and it led me to do a little research. Samuel Adams was one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. Thomas Jefferson called him "The Patriarch of Liberty". Richard Henry Lee was also a leader in those days. He was also a signer of the Declaration of Independence. James Madison was fourth President of the United States. He was also called the Father of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Thomas Paine was a writer, scholar and publisher, a firm supporter of the revolution.
 
 
Samuel Adams wrote "The said Constitution [shall] be never construed to authorize Congress to infringe the just liberty of the press, or the rights of conscience; or to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms."
